Rouge Fest
Music Festival
THE BRIEF
Design a brochure for a product of your choice, developing a cohesive visual identity suitable for print.
THE PROBLEM
Louisiana has one of the richest music cultures in the world, but its festival scene has quietly faded. Voodoo and BUKU Fest have both gone on indefinite hiatus, leaving Jazz Fest as the last major event standing. While Jazz Fest is a well-rounded festival, it doesn’t quite include the same genres that fans of Voodoo and BUKU Fest adored. Now, former festival goers are left in the dust, either choosing to give up on the music festival scene in Louisiana or resort to costly options of traveling out of state to attend music festivals. For a state this deeply rooted in music history, that gap felt worth filling.

THE SOLUTION
While Rouge Fest started as a brochure, it evolved into a full festival identity. The concept, brainstorming, and research pulled me in, and I kept building. The final product developed was a Baton Rouge–based music festival built to revitalize Louisiana's festival scene by pairing major headliners to draw national interest with local artists across jazz, blues, zydeco, rap, and more. The goal was to create something that felt as bold and layered as the culture it's celebrating.
